What You’ll Learn Over 6 Weeks

  • This is where we set the stage for massive growth. Yoga is a practice of uniting the mind, body and spirit to realize our true nature. With yoga philosophy as a guide map, we can orient our daily lives in pursuit of an abundant source of inner power, mental strength, and fulfillment.

    This foundational module establishes:

    • The relationship between yoga and mental performance

    • A framework for mental conditioning using the eight limbs of yoga

    • Practices to help you align with your why (dharma)

    • The science of habits

  • These guidelines (yamas) suggest how we can relate to, and engage with, the external world. 

    Module 2 explores the five guidelines below, plus corresponding mental skills practices:

    • Exercise non-harming (ahimsa)

    • Practice truthfulness (satya)

    • Cultivate non-stealing (asteya)

    • Strengthen right use of energy (brahmacharya)

    • Prioritize non-attachment (aparigraha)

  • While module 2 emphasizes our relationship with the outside world, module 3 examines the five habits (niyamas), which help us increase awareness of our internal world.

    This module explores:

    • Simplicity (shaucha) and how we can become more cognizant of our mental junk

    • Contentment (santosha) and the neuroscience of gratitude

    • Tools for strengthening our discipline (tapas), leaning into discomfort, and cultivating courage

    • The importance of self-study (svadhyaya)

    • How both surrender and celebration (ishvarapranidhana) help us feel more connected to our Self

  • Let’s get moving! For many, this is the most familiar part of the process: we all move in some capacity and we certainly all breathe. However, when we’re really intentional about the way we move and breathe, we can increase our cognitive functioning, remove the mental blocks that get in our way, and perform better. 

    In this module, you will:

    • Learn how physical movement benefits the brain

    • Take a yoga class (asana) designed to enhance performance

    • Understand the science of breath and how different breathing techniques (pranayama) contribute to brain function and mental performance

    • Practice several different breathing exercises

  • We spend so much of our day with our attention focused outward, consuming information and interacting with our external environment.

    This module centers on:

    • Shifting from negative thinking to neutral (or positive) thinking

    • Practices to draw towards the opposite (pratyahara)

    • Restorative mental and physical exercises

    • The science behind affirmations (mantra) and focal points (drishti) to steady the mind

  • This is what we’ve been working towards: Bliss. Harnessing the mind to perform at our best is what allows us to tap into more sustainable, blissful experiences.

    In this module, we will dive into:

    • Deepening our meditation practice (dhyana)

    • The power of BE-ing and learning how to experience a settled mind (samadhi)

    • The neuroscience of flow

    • Triggers for entering a flow state more often

Hi! I’m Daya.

For over 15 years, I’ve helped athletes, performing artists, executives, and doctors train their brain for higher levels of performance. I’m a certified mental performance consultant (CMPC), a PhD neuroscientist, a yoga & meditation teacher, a runner/triathlete, and a mom of two young boys.

Why did I create this course?

Through my private practice, I’ve seen the tremendous impact the combination of yoga + neuroscience-backed mental skills has on performance. My approach in working with athletes and other high performers is unique, and I’m eager to share these powerful tools with you.

I strongly believe that the more people we have performing at their best, the better our world will be. So, join me, and let’s create positive change within your mind that will ripple out to everyone in your orbit.

  • Sometime in the Fall! Dates will be released later, so add your name to the waitlist to be the first to know. If you have any questions in the meantime, simply fill out this contact form and Daya will get back to you.

  • The financial investment is $947 (payment plan available). Plan to commit 2-3 hours per week for lessons + implementation. There are opportunities for more engagement (e.g. in the online community, through the live experiences, etc.) and recordings will be posted if you cannot attend live.

  • YES! Daya will be active in the community chat, plus you’ll be able to ask her questions during the weekly LIVE Q&As / Group coaching (these will be recorded if you can’t attend live).

  • I strongly believe in your growth potential through this course. But, if you’re just not into it by the end of the first week, let us know and we’ll issue a full refund.

  • Live Zoom calls are typically between 8am-12pm PST. The days vary Monday-Friday.
